Wine Label Eye Candy
Most of my posts contain a lot of words. This one will not. Pictures of clever, cool, or otherwise inspiring wine label designs:
Very elegant design. I especially like how the brown letters surrounding the tap-root serve a dual purpose: textually informative, and visually fitting – from a distance, the words look like soil.
Especially with the background of a dark bottle and the white wax, this black and white comic-book style label is fun, although I am not sure if the images within have any particular significance to the wine.
This label is combined with a gift card…with a space for a personal message of brutal honesty. “B Frank: I’m only drinking with you because______”
Who doesn’t like flowers?
This might be a personal favorite. Very simple concept and easily recognizable from a distance, yet intricate and detailed up-close – almost alive and growing. Yet this winery might run into a problem if they have both a Merlot and a Malbec or a Chianti and a Chardonnay.
